Amen pioneered the Young California platform to expedite the translation of West Coast products to the consumer by building an extensive network of creatives who share his same vision. Always advocating new talent and the ability to be a beat ahead of what’s next has landed him on the turntables for  San Francisco’s 106KMEL and 49ers, the Sacramento Kings, and Los Angeles’s Real 92.3 just to name a few.

ON-AIR Over 10 years ago DJ Amen started his radio career where he grew up in the Northern Bay Area. After building his reputation as the most successful DJ locally, he was given the opportunity join the iconic 106.1 KMEL in San Francisco. He helped bring the heritage station to a new generation by introducing and breaking new music as well as spotlighting young local talent. IAMSU, Sage the Gemini, G-Eazy, and Kehlani are just some of the local names Amen helped usher to the mainstream. In 2012-2015 Amen was recognized for his work with multiple nominations at the annual Global Spin Awards in New York City. Recently in 2015 he added to his radio residencies by announcing his new position mixing every weekday at 4pm as well as the 2016 FM launch of Young California Radio every Saturday night from 7pm to midnight (PST) on iHeartMedia’s Urban flagship station Real 92.3 in Los Angeles.

YOUNG CALIFORNIA What started as an idea ignited by his passion of providing a platform for new music and local artists has become an internationally recognized brand at the forefront of Hip-Hop culture. At its inception, Young California was a small movement between the Bay Area and Los Angeles connecting new talent and avant-garde DJ’s with the consumer. BLESSED CLOTHING Dj Amen is well known for his many collaborations. His most recent (and by far most successful) has been his collection of BLESSED apparel. What began as a joint partnership with a local Bay Area clothing company has become one of his hottest selling product lines ever. From a couple hundred pieces dropping exclusively online to thousands of costumers served internationally. P. Diddy, Dj Khaled, 50 Cent, Future and so many of the hottest names in music today have all been spotted rocking with the BLESSED.
